Senior Sales Specialist – Utrecht

We're looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to join a fast-growing cleantech company in Utrecht.

Our client is building technology that helps shape a smarter, more flexible energy system.

You'll work with organizations across the energy sector, helping them get more value from their assets and adapt to a rapidly changing energy landscape.

What will you do?

• Build and manage your own target accounts and sales pipeline
• Identify new opportunities and take deals from first conversation through to close
• Build long-term relationships with customers and become a trusted commercial partner
• Work closely with technical colleagues to develop solutions tailored to customer needs
• Translate complex technology into clear and compelling business value
• Keep up with developments in the Dutch energy market, including renewables, flexibility, energy infrastructure and grid congestion
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on content, events and initiatives that strengthen the company's position in the market

Who are you?

• Around 5 years of experience in sales, business development or a similar commercial role
• A genuine interest in the energy, cleantech or a technical environment
• Commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable creating your own opportunities
• Strong technical affinity and the ability to connect technical and commercial stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot is a plus
