Nuclear Decommissioning Operative — Handling the World's Most Sensitive Work
Glovebox operations, waste retrieval, remote handling — your expertise in controlled radiation environments is exceptionally rare and valuable.
The Observer Programme pays nuclear decommissioning operatives to record their working day using lightweight smart glasses.
How it works
- Wear smart glasses during applicable work phases
- Record sessions from 30 minutes up
- Get paid per recorded minute
- All recordings are anonymised
What you'll earn
€110–€180 per recorded hour | €4,000–€6,000 per month (based on 20 recording days)
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of nuclear/decommissioning experience
- Currently working
- Smartphone (iOS or Android)
All roles welcome: glovebox operative, waste retrieval technician, radiation protection monitor, remote handling tool operator, decontamination operative.
