At ACSI Camping.info Booking, you will have the opportunity to shape the next phase of growth. /p pACSI and Camping.info established this joint venture in 2021 with one clear ambition: to build a leading European booking platform for campsites. The foundations are in place. Now we are looking for a Managing Director to take the platform to the next stage and accelerate its commercial growth. /p pAs Managing Director, you will have overall responsibility for the strategy, product development, commercial growth, day-to-day operations and financial performance of ACSI Camping.info Booking. You will lead the joint venture as an independent business, combining long-term development with tangible results. /p pYou will report directly to the shareholders of ACSI Camping.info Booking. Working within a clearly defined mandate, you will have the autonomy to set the direction, make decisions and invest in growth. This is a non-statutory Managing Director position. /p pYou will directly lead the Booking Support Team of approximately five FTEs. You will also work closely with external software development partners and specialist teams within ACSI and Camping.info. You will bring these different parties together around a clear vision, shared priorities and common goals. /p pYour mission is clear: expand the range of bookable campsites, increase booking value and conversion, strengthen distribution and build a scalable, sustainably profitable platform for campsites, travellers and online travel agencies (OTAs). /p h3This is what you will be doing /h3 h3Shape the future of the platform /h3 pYou will set the direction for the platform and ensure that development efforts focus on the initiatives with the greatest customer and commercial impact. /p ul liOwn and drive the product and IT roadmap. /li liPrioritise development initiatives based on customer value, commercial impact and growth potential. /li liManage external software development partners, ensuring clear priorities, effective use of development capacity, high quality and timely delivery. /li liLead the dedicated Booking Support Team at ACSI. /li liContinuously improve the quality, reliability, security, user experience and scalability of the platform. /li /ul h3Drive commercial growth /h3 pYou will be responsible for turning the platform’s potential into sustainable commercial growth. /p ul liDevelop and strengthen distribution through OTA partners and other relevant channels, maximising the commercial potential of the bookable inventory. /li liDevelop strategies to further expand the portfolio of contracted campsites. /li liIncrease the availability of bookable inventory and improve conversion. /li liIdentify and develop new business models and growth opportunities. /li liOwn the commercial business case and drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability. /li liWork closely with the sales organisations of ACSI and Camping.info to align bookable inventory, distribution and growth opportunities. /li /ul h3Deliver operational excellence /h3 pAs the platform grows, you will ensure that processes remain efficient and provide a smooth experience for both campsites and travellers. /p ul liEnsure a seamless booking journey for campsites and guests. /li liOptimise onboarding, support and operational processes. /li liDrive service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction. /li liManage contracts with campsites and channel managers. /li liOversee commission settlements and invoicing processes carried out by the external Finance Team. /li /ul pYou will combine commercial ambition with financial discipline and build the organisation needed for the next phase of growth. /p ul liPrepare budgets and forecasts for the joint venture. /li liMonitor revenue, margins and costs. /li liOwn the business plan and translate strategic ambitions into clear financial and commercial objectives. /li liReport to the shareholders on strategy, financial and commercial performance, major investments and business priorities. /li liBuild a scalable, lean organisation and shape the team and capabilities required for future growth. /li /ul h3Who are we looking for? /h3 pWe are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who can translate strategic choices into concrete action. You understand how digital platforms grow, set clear priorities and take ownership of results. You move easily between product development, commercial matters and finance and know how to bring people with you, including those who do not report directly to you. /p pYou combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You are comfortable working with data, making decisions and turning opportunities into measurable results. At the same time, you understand that success in a joint venture depends on collaboration: you know how to align shareholders, teams and external partners around shared ambitions. /p h3What do you bring? /h3 ul liHigher professional or university-level education, or an equivalent level of working and thinking. /li liExtensive relevant experience in digital platforms, SaaS, e-commerce, online marketplaces, OTAs or travel technology, with a proven track record in senior leadership and end-to-end responsibility for a business or business unit. /li liStrong experience in digital product management and working with software development teams. /li liIn-depth knowledge of digital marketplaces and booking platforms. /li liStrong commercial, financial and analytical skills. /li liProven experience leading teams and managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships. /li liExcellent command of Dutch and English.
