The Diamond is the iconic building that gives Leidseplein a whole new face. The glass, sparkling exterior facade refers to the famous diamond Koh-I-Noor, Persian for 'mountain of light'. With this, the glorious history of Amsterdam, City of Diamonds, is once again anchored in the city.

In The Diamond you will find a unique boutique hotel with 36 luxurious rooms; a table d'hôte restaurant where changing top chefs show their skills in an intimate setting to a group of up to 18 people; the legendary cocktail club, open to members and guests only; a premium steak house; and, of course, the reinvented Heineken Hoek.

As an Administrative and Financial Manager at The Diamond, you play a crucial role in maintaining efficient administrative processes. You are responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative status for various departments within the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Management.

Additionally, you manage and organize documentation with an eye for accuracy and compliance with hotel standards. In this dynamic role, you coordinate communication within the hotel and with external stakeholders, act as the 'bookkeeper' of the property, and ensure that all financial processes and reports run smoothly. You also assist in planning and organizing meetings, events, and appointments, and handle inquiries and requests from guests, staff, and management. Moreover, you actively contribute to the development and improvement of administrative processes.

The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience in administrative roles, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
