Are you looking for a challenging role within an international FMCG manufacturing environment? Would you like to work at our Nutricia plant (500+ employees), the very place where the brand began 125 years ago? Then come join us as an IT/OT Engineer at Danone!

In this role, you will become part of our Industrial Automation Team and report directly to the Automation Manager at our production facility in Zoetermeer.

About the Role

As an IA Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and implementing application changes across the process automation systems within our manufacturing environment.

You thrive on working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues from Danone Global, Digital Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, IT, Production, Engineering, as well as external partners like system integrators.

You will maintain and improve the process control systems and related equipment vital to our production. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lifecycle Management: Keeping our process control system and its corresponding documentation up to date.
• System Availability: Ensuring maximum availability of the process automation system.
• Standards & Compliance: Managing and supervising the correct application of IA and IT standards.
• Process Optimization: Advising on, documenting, and organizing the implementation of process optimizations in accordance with the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Project Support: Actively supporting CAPEX projects during the definition, execution, and commissioning phases (FAT/SAT).
• Vendor Management: Directing and guiding suppliers and partners of automation solutions.
• Data Integrity: Ensuring the storage and reporting of process data for quality systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyzing and following up on issues that have been resolved by the breakdown/maintenance service.

Functie-eisen

You will be successful if you have:

• At least five years of demonstrable experience within Supplier Quality Management or Quality Engineering.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a highly regulated industry, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or aerospace.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485 and the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
• At least a bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.

• Salary: A market-competitive salary matching your experience and level, ranging between €4,500 and €5,000 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week.
• Holidays: 25 vacation days per year for full-time employment, with the option to accrue or purchase additional days.
