ppAs a Data Platform DevOps Engineer, you contribute to the evolution of NN’s Customer Data Platform by building, maintaining, and improving the customer data integrations that power digital channels, analytics, and AI use cases. /ppWith your strong engineering mindset, DevOps expertise, and focus on reliability and automation, you ensure that customer data APIs are scalable, secure, and production ready. Which enables teams across NN to consume them with full confidence. /ppbWhat you are going to do /b /ppIn this role, your focus is on developing, maintaining, testing, and improving the customer data API integrations within the Customer Data Platform. Alongside this, you support the team with data engineering–related tasks and help set up and improve DevOps and release pipelines that enable efficient development and deployment. /ppYou will: /pulliDesign, build, maintain, and improve Customer Data Integration APIs using Python and technologies such as Databricks, Azure Function Apps, and related Azure services /liliSet up and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, release, and deployment processes /liliWork closely with the Data Engineering Platform team to design and implement end-to-end data integration solutions /liliCollaborate with engineers across business units and other countries to enable stable, scalable, and well‑documented customer data integrations /liliTranslate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable solutions /liliImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure observability, reliability, and production readiness of APIs /liliEnsure API quality, performance, security, access control, lifecycle management, and cost efficiency /liliMigrate legacy customer data APIs to the new architectural standards of the Customer Data Platform /li /ulpbWhat we offer you /b /ppNN invests in an inclusive and inspiring work environment, as well as in skills and competencies for the future. You enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and DevOps, and take ownership of solutions from development through operations. You bring: /pulli3+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer /liliStrong hands‑on experience with Python, including writing clean, testable, and maintainable code for APIs /liliExperience designing and building APIs and backend services using Python frameworks and libraries /liliA solid understanding of API design principles, versioning, authentication/authorization, and lifecycle management /liliExperience setting up and working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with a focus on automation, reliability, and reproducibility /liliFamiliarity with testing strategies (unit, integration), monitoring, logging, and operational support for production systems /liliPractical experience with Azure services such as Azure Function Apps, Azure Key Vault, etc. /liliHands‑on experience with Azure networking and security, including VNets, private endpoints, network security groups, firewall, traffic protection and secure exposure of APIs /liliExperience working in Agile teams and collaborating closely with data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders /liliA willingness to learn about and work with new and innovative technologies such as Databricks Lakebase and Databricks Apps /li /ulpbWho you will work with /b /ppYou will join the Customer Data Management Office within the Customer Digital domain. In this role, you collaborate closely with a diverse set of teams that together shape and operate NN’s customer data landscape. /ppYou will work with: /pulliThe Data Management team, on customer data definitions, business rules, data quality standards, and data exchange requirements /liliThe SAP BP team, responsible for managing the golden source for customer master data /liliThe AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE), enabling high‑quality data delivery for analytics and AI‑driven solutions /liliEngineering teams across multiple platforms (Bank, Non‑Life, Pensions, and International), to drive platform‑wide consistency and uniform customer data integrations /liliThe Engineering Guild, where you contribute to shared best practices, standards, and ongoing engineering maturity /liliVarious teams within and outside the Customer Digital domain, to design and implement robust, reusable customer data integrations /li /ulpYou will also work closely with Security and NonFinancial Risk teams to ensure the platform meets all security, regulatory, and compliance requirements. A key part of your role is embedding securebydesign principles into the platform by automating controls, monitoring, and risk mitigating measures as part of the delivery process. /ppIn addition, you will work closely with the Data AI Platform team within Customer Digital, as well as with central platform teams that provide shared services such as CDAAS (Continuous Delivery As A Service).
