Financial Controller - IHQ

ppAs an IHQ Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting for International Headquarters entities. Working closely with the Financial Control Manager, you will bindependently own the financial controlling and reporting responsibilities for a defined set of International Headquarters legal entities and accounting topics /b. You will be hands‑on in the month‑end close, balance sheet control and internal controls, acting as a trusted financial partner to stakeholders across the organization. This role contributes to major finance transformations, including the transition of transactional activities to Global Business Services, SAP S/4HANA, SOX compliance and US GAAP reporting. The position is based in the Netherlands and sits within the Global Accounting Reporting function. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul libAct as the end-to-end accountable financial controller for a defined portfolio of IHQ holding entities /b, serving as the primary point of contact for all controlling and reporting matters /li liDeliver accurate month‑end close and reporting, including journals, accruals, intercompany transactions and central cost allocations /li liPrepare account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews and internal control documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness /li liSupport external audits and collaborate closely with Accounting Reporting, Tax, Treasury and Business Control teams /li liOwn and continuously improve selected IHQ financial processes, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency /li libAssess and support the implementation of changes in accounting standards, policies and ways of working for assigned entities and accounting topics /b, operating within a matrix‑controlled environment with escalation and overall supervision provided by the Financial Control Manager /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWorking at JDE Peet’s is hands‑on, fast‑paced and collaborative.
