The role acts as the central point of accountability for day-to-day logistics coordination, sourcing activities, disruption management, and operational planning related to ammonia supply. /p pThis position ensures fast decision-making, operational continuity, rail logistics coordination, and alignment between supplying sites, terminals, rail operators, procurement, planning, and commercial stakeholders. Due to the strategic and hazardous nature of ammonia logistics, the role is critical for maintaining production continuity, minimizing operational risks, and ensuring rapid response during supply disruptions. /p pThe position also serves as a key interface between Infrastructure Europe and YCA/ASL organizations regarding sourcing strategy, market intelligence, commercial alignment, and future end-to-end ammonia supply flow for Tertre across Continental Europe. /li liAct as the single point of accountability for day-to-day logistics planning and operational coordination. /li liEnsure clear ownership and rapid decision-making across normal operations and disruption scenarios. /li liCoordinate activities between Tertre, supplying sites, terminals, rail operators, and logistics partners. /li /ul h3Rail Logistics Operational Leadership /h3 ul liJointly driveoperational coordination of rail-based ammonia logistics flows with the Rail procurement manager : /li liEnsure continuity, reliability, and optimization of rail supply operations. /li liMaintain close integration with local site operations to understand production impacts and operational priorities. /li liDrive fast issue identification, escalation management, and implementation of corrective actions. /li /ul h3Sourcing Procurement Leadership /h3 ul liLead ammonia sourcing activities related to Tertre operations. /li liManage offtake agreements, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships. /li liCoordinate spot sourcing activities during disruptions or emergency situations. /li liEnsure alignment between operational requirements, sourcing strategy, and commercial considerations. /li /ul h3Disruption Crisis Management /h3 ul liLead coordination during supply disruptions, logistics incidents, or operational crises. /li liEnsure short communication and decision-making pathways during critical situations. /li liAssess operational impacts, evaluate sourcing alternatives, and coordinate mitigation plans. /li liSafeguard business continuity and minimize production risks for Tertre operations. /li /ul h3Strategic Planning Business Integration /h3 ul liContribute to business planning activities for Tertre ammonia supply. /li liCoordinate inputs from Operations, GPO, YCA, and Infrastructure Europe stakeholders. /li liProvide weekly operational and sourcing inputs to relevant governance teams. /li liSupport long-term resilience and optimization of the ammonia logistics network. /li /ul h3Market Intelligence Commercial Interface /h3 ul liMaintain active collaboration with YCA/ASL regarding pricing support, ammonia market developments, and sourcing strategy. /li liProvide operational and infrastructure insights supporting commercial and sourcing decisions. /li liMonitor logistics market developments, rail capacity constraints, and supply risks across Europe. /li liSupport evaluation of future growth opportunities in the domestic European ammonia market. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management Cross-Functional Leadership /h3 ul liAct as the key interface between Infrastructure Europe, Tertre, YCA/ASL, GPO, terminals, rail operators, and supplying sites. /li liInfluence cross-functional decision-making through operational expertise and market understanding. /li liEnsure alignment between logistics, sourcing, commercial, and operational priorities. /li liPromote a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and operational excellence. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, or related field /li liSignificant experience in industrial logistics, sourcing, operations, or supply chain management /li liExperience in rail logistics, chemicals, ammonia, or hazardous materials is strongly preferred
