Credit Risk Analyst

Job description

Our client is hiring a Credit Risk Analyst. You will work with the Business Data Analyst, Finance Manager, and Finance Director.
Your Responsibilities will be:

• Evaluate customer risk profiles with internal and external data, assigning risk ratings and credit limits.
• Monitor and update risk profiles and customer exposure, identifying and escalating issues.
• Assist Sales and Operations teams with credit risk questions, requests, and approvals, and provide training on policies and procedures.
• Implement and enforce fraud prevention measures, investigating and reporting suspicious activities.
• Manage customer guarantees by verifying validity, monitoring expiry, and handling renewals or releases.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in financial services or transportation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with credit risk systems and tools.
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language.
• YOU HOLD A VALID WORKING PERMIT FOR THE NETHERLAND.
• YOU LIVE AROUND UTRECHT.
