Let’s build the future of live. /ppstrongPosition Summary /strong /ppJoin On Air’s expert product and engineering team in Baarn, The Netherlands, as a Smart TV Mobile Application Developer driving the future of premium streaming across mobile and connected TV platforms. We’re looking for a highly skilled, solutions-oriented developer to help evolve and scale our cross-platform applications, including Android, iOS, Android/Google TV, tvOS, FireTV, and Web, as we set new standards in immersive concert streaming. /ppAs we continue to evolve, we’re placing increased emphasis on AI-assisted software development - leveraging tools that streamline coding, automate repetitive tasks, and support faster iteration. While we’re early in this journey, we’re eager to grow with engineers who have a strong interest in using AI to enhance their development workflow. week. /strong /li /ulpstrongResponsibilities /strong /pulliDesign and develop clean, scalable applications using TypeScript with React Native. /liliWork within a cross-functional Scrum team to ship new features, improve performance, and enhance cross-platform user experience. /liliIdentify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks across native and hybrid applications. /liliWrite and maintain automated tests with an openness to AI-assisted test generation and diagnostics. /liliParticipate in peer code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering team. /liliExplore and apply AI development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cline, CodeWhisperer) to accelerate implementation, improve code quality, and support documentation and testing efforts. /liliHelp evaluate and integrate emerging tools that support automation, AI-enhanced testing, and intelligent code documentation. /li /ulpstrongSkills and experience /strong /pulli5++ years of professional experience building mobile and smart TV applications. /liliFamiliarity with Java/Kotlin for Android and/or Swift for iOS/tvOS is a plus. /liliReact Native and TypeScript for multiplatform development. /liliFamiliarity with state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux), React hooks, and modular architectures for clean UI and data layers. /liliComfortable working with REST APIs, GraphQL /liliUnderstanding of CI/CD workflows (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, Github actions). /liliInterest in or experience with AI-assisted development workflows—whether through experimentation, personal projects, or early and the Fabric architecture for React Native. /liliAbility to develop and maintain scalable, performant applications with clean code and modular structure. /liliA genuine curiosity about how AI tools can improve software development, and a desire to help shape their practical use in our workflow. /liliExperience with E2E testing tools such as Detox or Appium. /liliSolid understanding of video
