Therapeutic Strategy Head - Oncology

We’re looking for a seasoned Oncology ACE (Allucent Center of Expertise) Therapeutic Strategy Head to join our A-team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping and driving our organization’s Oncology strategy, integrating scientific, operational, and commercial perspectives to ensure the successful capture and delivery of Oncology trials. With your expertise, you will bridge therapeutic insight with the ability to work with internal SMEs to create differentiated strategic operational solutions for Allucent’s clients. This position will not have any direct reports but will have matrixed oversight and accountability of therapeutically aligned project leadership and SME resources to enable portfolio performance management.brOm te solliciteren, leest u eenvoudig de volgende functieomschrijving door en zorgt u ervoor dat u relevante documenten bijvoegt.brAt Allucent™, we are dedicated to helping small-medium biopharmaceutical companies efficiently navigate the complex world of clinical trials to bring life-changing therapies to patients in need across the globe.brKey Responsibilities:brTherapeutic Strategy Leadershipbr- Partner to develop, define, and execute Allucent’s overarching ACE Oncology strategy that aligns with our corporate and market opportunity goals across all phases of drug development.br- Serve as an internal Oncology expert providing leadership across high value opportunities and ensure.br- Lead the discussion around possible innovative and efficient operational models for Oncology trials, leveraging internal expertise across multidisciplinary scientific and operational functions.br- Direct development of a therapeutic ecosystem of internal and external SMEs Partners to differentiate Allucent’s go to market offering.brOperational Excellencebr- Have accountability for delivery performance across the Oncology portfolio, ensuring studies meet or exceed quality, timeline, and budget expectations.br- Establish and monitor leading and lagging operational and financial KPIs specific to Oncology to enable proactive portfolio performance management.br- Lead operational governance for key clients in the Oncology portfolio, providing strategic oversight and escalation support as required.br- Champion operational innovation, such as decentralized or hybrid trial models, real-world data integration, and digital solutions that enhance Oncology study efficiency.br- Partner with Medical, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Data Operations to ensure Oncology trials are strategically and operationally optimized.br- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of delivery solutions across the Oncology portfolio.brClient Engagement, Thought Leadership Business Development br- Partner with Marketing and Business Development and internal/external SMEs to position Allucent as a thought leader in the Oncology drug development space.br- Lead operational strategy development key opportunities to support improved opportunity capture.br- Cultivate relationships with key Oncology sponsors, thought leaders, and academic collaborators.br- Identify new growth opportunities in Oncology, including emerging indications, novel modalities, and biomarker-driven strategies.brLeadership Team Developmentbr- Participate as a key contributor to the executive operational leadership team for Allucentbr- Provide mentorship and leadership to therapeutic leads, project directors, and operational teams within Oncology.brRequirementsbrWe're looking for someone with:br- Advanced degree in life sciences (MS, PhD, or equivalent). Background in Oncology, or related field preferred.br- Minimum 15 years of clinical research and development experience with a focus on Oncology within a CRO, pharma, or biotech environment.br- Demonstrated success leading Oncology programs or portfolios across multiple indications and study phases.br- Proven ability to align therapeutic insight with operational strategy.br- Strong experience collaborating with and influencing across multiple scientific and operational disciplines.br- Track record of client engagement, operational strategy, and managing large portfolios of work to achieve commercial and delivery goalsbr- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and operational insight.br- Excellent communicator, capable of translating scientific and operational concepts for diverse audiences.br- Highly collaborative, able to influence across functions and levels without direct authority.br- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated by building excellence in a growth-oriented CRO environment.brBenefitsbr- Competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
