As a Principal MEMS Development Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to push forward MEMS technology and engineer resonators for SiTime’s next-generation timing products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead definition and execution of challenging technical projects. /li liAdvise management of challenges, impact, recommendations. /li liDevelop new or improved resonators, MEMS technologies and/or products. /li liDesign MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance on wafer level and/or device level. /li liWork with process team to drive continuous improvement in MEMS yields. /li liExtend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS design, measurements, and data analysis. /li liDesign and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication. /li liInterface with local and overseas vendors. /li liWork in cross-functional teams, including circuits, systems, and packaging. /li liWorking/supporting other projects as needed. /li /ul h3Qualifications Requirements /h3 ul liPh.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent /li liAt least 3 years of industry experience. /li liSkilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments. /li liExcellent problem identification and problem-solving abilities. /li liExcellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics. /li liKnowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices physics and fabrication. /li liExperience with finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and data processing tools (Matlab, Python). /li liExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills. /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics Attributes /h3 ul li3 -10 years of industry experience. /li liIntermediate to advanced knowledge of programing languages, circuits, metrology equipment and methods. /li liExperience with Statistical analysis and tools such as R or JMP. /li liKnowledge in MEMS microfabrication. /li /ul h3Compensation Range /h3 pAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
