Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Azure-based cloud solutions. You will work closely with developers, architects, project managers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platform capabilities while improving the developer experience through automation and self-service.

Key responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based cloud solutions that meet business requirements and follow best practices.
• Design enterprise-scale landing zones aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Build self-service Azure capabilities, reusable platform products, automation, templates, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Deploy and integrate Azure services, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Embed security, governance, networking, identity, and policy controls into platform capabilities.
• Operate platform services with a focus on reliability, observability, supportability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and DevOps teams to support adoption, gather feedback, and improve platform services.
• Contribute to platform engineering modernization through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve Azure environments.
• Stay up to date with Azure services and best practices through training and certifications.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including AKS, Azure VMs, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure AD/IAM, and Azure SQL.
• Experience with enterprise-scale Azure landing zones following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Experience with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, and PowerShell. Proven experience with Azure Policies.
• Strong expertise with Azure Pipelines (YAML). Automation and development mindset; prior development experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Azure engineering or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AZ-104, AZ-400, and AZ-204 are preferred.
• CKA/CKAD and Terraform Associate certifications are a plus.
