Then this Corporate Legal Counsel position at Kiwa could be an excellent opportunity for you. /ph3About the role /h3pAs a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will be part of a small, dynamic legal team consisting of the Corporate Legal Director/Company Secretary and two senior Corporate Legal Counsels. Within the team, we work on a wide variety of legal matters, including commercial contracting, MA transactions and integrations, trademarks, claims, corporate housekeeping and other corporate matters. In this role, you will independently handle legal work appropriate to your level of experience, while also receiving guidance from senior colleagues on more complex or strategic matters. You will contribute to Kiwa's transition towards a more digital and future-oriented way of working by supporting legal technology initiatives, AI opportunities and process improvements that help increase efficiency, quality and consistency across our legal work. bKey Responsibilities /b /pulliContract and Corporate Matters: Draft, review and manage a variety of contracts and legal documents, and support corporate governance, corporate housekeeping and claims management activities; /liliLegal Advisory: Provide practical legal advice to the business, escalating complex or high-risk matters where appropriate; /liliMA Focus: Assist with MA transactions, due diligence processes and integration activities; /liliDigital Innovation and Legal Operations: Support the use of legal technology, AI opportunities and process improvements that help make legal work more efficient, consistent and future-ready; /liliCollaboration and Ethics: Work effectively with colleagues across the organization, upholding Kiwa's core values of being Ambitious, Reliable and Engaged. /li /ulh3Do you have what it takes? /h3pFor this role, we are looking for someone who is pragmatic, hands-on and ready to grow into a broader corporate legal role. You have a solid legal basis, strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to take ownership of your work, while being eager to learn from more senior colleagues. You communicate clearly and are able to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. In addition, you have the following profile: /pulliA Master's degree in Law; /liliAround 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained in an international environment, corporate legal department or leading law firm; /liliYou are fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is considered an advantage; /liliYou have a solid legal foundation and are eager to further develop your expertise in commercial contracting, corporate matters and MA support; /liliYou are tech-savvy, comfortable working with digital legal tools and curious about how AI and legal operations can support efficient and responsible legal practice; /liliYou are solution-oriented, proactive and able to take ownership of your work; /liliYou are able to prioritise and stay focused in a dynamic environment; /liliYou are based in the Netherlands and are allowed to work here. /li /ulh3What can you expect from us in return? /h3pA challenging role within an ambitious and expanding international organization, with exposure to a broad range of legal topics and senior stakeholders. For this role, you will work within Kiwa's Corporate Legal department at Kiwa's headquarters in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, with flexibility to work remotely in line with Kiwa's working arrangements. The team is small, collaborative and characterised by an informal atmosphere.
