Indirect Procurement Consultant (FMCG)

ppWe are working with the procurement practice of one of the leading strategy consulting firms who are running a large indirect procurement transformation for a global FMCG client focused on cost optimisation. They are seeking a senior 2 procurement consultants to join their team in Amsterdam/Singapore for an initial 6 month contract to help drive the identification and implementation of various cost saving initiatives. /p ul libLocation: /b Amsterdam / Singapore(1 consultant needed from each market) /li libContract Duration: /b 6 months /li /ul h3Required Background /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories within global/regional organization /li liBackground from Large MNC company, prioritizing FB background (e.g., Nestle, Unilever, Mars, Mondelez, Danone), other industry will be reviewed case by case if experience in category is relevant (e.g., Pharma, Industrial Good) /li liProven track record in senior roles such as: /li liCategory Director /li liSenior Category Manager /li liHead of Indirect Procurement /li liVP / Director of Procurement /li liChief Procurement Officer (CPO) /li liExperience in either corporate procurement (in-house) or procurement consulting, or both /li liStrong background in indirect categories such as IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities, Professional Services, Travel, or MRO /li /ul h3Key Skills Experience /h3 ul liLed or managed large-scale category strategies end-to-end /li liExperience with supplier negotiations at a senior/executive level /li liFamiliar with procurement transformation or process improvement initiatives /liliComfortable engaging with and influencing C-suite and senior stakeholders /li liExperience working in complex, matrixed organizations /li liExposure to multiple geographies or global procurement is a plus /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liCIPS or equivalent procurement certification /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
