Onsit e. /b /p pEvery day, Mars, Incorporated factories takes thousands of decisions that are informed by rapid spectroscopy data, some of which are informed by the data. /p pThe brapid spectroscopy /b program delivers over 10 million analysis results per annum steering production at 90% of Mars plants, as well as assessing raw material quality before use. The Rapid Spectroscopy Senior Scientist is part of a team of technology experts responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the rapid spectroscopy calibration portfolio for raw materials, intermediates and finished products across all Segments, and the governance of the instrument network through performance metrics. /p h3bWhat are we looking for? /b /h3 ul liYou hold a BSc or Master degree in science. /li liYou have a proven record of Near Infrared Spectroscopy technology experience withing chemometrics, spectroscopy or statistical analysis fields. Experience in NIR technology or other rapid spectroscopy technologies is preferable. /li liYou have a minimum 2 years of experience working in an industrial or academic laboratory environment on spectroscopy. /li liYou are a great team player with strong customer focus. /li liYou can easily adapt to the changing priorities. /li liYou are fluent in English. /li /ul h3bWhat will be your key responsibilities? /b /h3 ul liApplication Procedure Development: create, validate, and deploy new spectroscopy application for quality control at all stages (inbound materials, in-process and finished goods). This includes codifying the procedures for their use.
