ServiceNow Technical Developer

As a ServiceNow Technical Developer, you will:

• Design, configure, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM).
  
• Customize and configure ServiceNow ITSM and CSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Case Management.
  
• Develop and maintain complex workflows, Flow Designer flows, and automation solutions.
  
• Create and maintain UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
  
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
  
• Build secure, scalable, and reliable integrations with external systems such as CRM and ERP platforms.
  
• Manage ServiceNow instance upgrades, cloning activities, and platform performance optimization.
  
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management capabilities.
  
• Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow coding standards, platform best practices, ITIL processes, and security guidelines.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other project teams to deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and contribute throughout the solution development lifecycle.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6–8 years of overall professional experience in ServiceNow development.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM and CSM implementation.
  
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development, configuration, and scripting.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API.
  
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Jelly, and AngularJS.
  
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
  
• Strong experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
  
• Experience developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  
• Experience working with MID Server and external system integrations.
  
• Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management.
  
• Understanding of ITIL processes, ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory.
  
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM and CSM certifications are preferred.
  
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is an advantage.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

You should possess the ability to:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  
• Design and implement scalable ServiceNow configurations and customizations across ITSM and CSM.
  
• Develop robust scripts and automation using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
  
• Design and implement complex workflows and Flow Designer automations.
  
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
  
• Work effectively with external systems and enterprise applications such as CRM and ERP platforms.
  
• Troubleshoot ServiceNow platform, workflow, scripting, integration, and performance-related issues.
  
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management capabilities.
  
• Apply ServiceNow development standards, ITIL processes, security guidelines, and best practices.
  
• Manage platform upgrades, cloning activities, and performance optimization.
  
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate across technical and business teams.
  
• Work independently while contributing effectively within an Agile/Scrum team.
  
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow solutions.
