In times of bank consolidation, growing digitalization and the need of millions of Europeans to take their financial future into their own hands, flatexDEGIRO is ideally positioned for further profitable growth. /p /brh3Your impact as Legal Counsel /h3 /brul /brliMonitor and assess legal, regulatory, and industry developments relevant to the firm's activities, translating complex requirements into practical business guidance. /li /brliServe as a trusted legal advisor to management and business teams, providing pragmatic and solution-oriented support across a broad range of matters. /li /brliDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts and legal documentation. /li /brliAdvise on regulatory and legal matters relating to financial services, banking, and capital markets activities. /li /brliConduct legal research and provide clear, actionable recommendations to support business decision-making. /li /brliBuild and maintain effective relationships with external counsel, regulators, industry bodies, and other key stakeholders. /li /brliSupport corporate governance activities, contract management processes, and the maintenance of legal records and documentation. /li /brliAssist with legal proceedings and matters involving seizures, estates, claims and other legal obligations. /li /brliRepresent and support the firm in negotiations, disputes, regulatory interactions, and engagements with clients, counterparties, courts, supervisory authorities, and dispute resolution bodies such as Kifid. /li /brliContribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, policies, and compliance frameworks. /li /br /ul /brh3What will make you successful in this role? /h3 /brul /brliMaster's degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent). /li /brli3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel, preferably within the financial services sector. /li /brliStrong knowledge of Dutch and EU financial services regulation, banking law, and capital markets legislation. /li /brliExcellent command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch language skills are an advantage. /li /brliStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify legal risks and develop practical solutions. /li /brliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organization. /li /brliAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. /li /brliProactive, hands-on, and commercially minded approach to problem-solving. /li /brliCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of professional integrity. /li /brliComfortable working in an international, dynamic, and evolving business environment. /li /br /ul /brh3Interested?
