Business Process Manager operations

Company Overview: A.P. Moller-Maersk and APM Terminals are undergoing an exciting transformation to become the Global Integrator of container logistics. This transformation focuses on further integrating our diverse business units, creating a unified and efficient global operation. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Regional Hub and Operations team, playing a pivotal role in this integration.

Role Summary: As a Senior Business Process Manager, you will be a key player in aligning and enhancing our processes across business units, with a strong focus on collaboration and inclusion. This role requires extensive travel for process mapping and confirmation at various terminals. While ideally based in The Hague, we offer flexible working arrangements depending on your location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Alignment with Terminals:

• Partner with business process owners across business units to drive end-to-end process alignment.
• Ensure processes are aligned to achieve shared business outcomes, making optimal trade-offs.

Integration with Product Development:

• Work with product managers to incorporate process considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Focus on process mapping from initial ideation to full rollout and necessary iterations.

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure process alignment and adherence in collaboration with terminals and global operations teams.
• Maintain up-to-date and accessible process documentation.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements, leveraging automation and digital tools.
• Track, monitor, and communicate obstacles and process defects.
• Educate and train teams on the importance of processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to achieve consensus across diverse groups.
• Experience in conducting workshops and meetings for large, diverse groups.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in documenting processes, writing reports, and maintaining plans.
• Experience with business process tools and software, preferably Marvel or Aris.
• Collaborative team player, capable of working across multiple functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of and experience with lean principles.
• Understanding of and experience with TWI principles and roll out.
