This role will shapestrategic entry by imecin this sector in the Netherlands, build the right (industry) partnerships, andconvert high-valueDefenceopportunities into impactful, technologyprograms. /p pYou will act as a trusted counterpart to selectedindustry partners and defenceorganisations. Your mandate spansstrategic positioning, opportunity development, and project definition —ensuring thatimec’ssemiconductor and deep-tech capabilitiestranslate intoDefence-relevant solutions for both near-term and long-termneeds. /p pThis consultancy assignment reports to the BusinessLine Director of the sector Aerospace Security and the Regional ManagingDirector imec NL. /p h3Core Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Positioning /h3 ul liPosition imec in the Netherlands as a key semiconductor and deep-tech partner forleadingDefenceindustrialorganisations in NL(e.g.,Thales, NEDAERO/Patria, Rheinmetall, Airbus, etc.). /li /ul h3Stakeholder Ecosystem Management /h3 ul liManage high-level relationships withDefence (industry) stakeholders. /li liCoordinate internal imecexpertisecenters and external technology partners. /li /ul h3Opportunity Lead Generation /h3 ul liProactively generate thefirst strategic leads inNL that convert into paidDefencepartnerships and funded innovationprograms. /li /ul h3Project Definition Delivery /h3 ul liShape, scope, and structure complex multi-partner projects — including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment. /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 h3Experience Education /h3 ul liMSc or PhD in Engineering or equivalent; strong coordination, program, orsystems-engineeringorientation. /li li5+ years of program or project management in international or cross-functional environments. /li liDemonstratedexperience running complex, multi-partner projects. /li liEU27 nationality and able to undergoDefence-related security screening. /li /ul h3Defence Technology Expertise /h3 ul liMinimum 3–5 years ofDefence-domain experience (Ministry ofDefence,Defenceindustry, integrators, or reservist background). /li liEstablishedDefencenetwork with the ability to open doors across stakeholders and decision-makers (DMU). /li liFamiliarity with semiconductor technology andDefenceapplications (preferred). /li liExperience with major innovation/funding programs is an asset. /li /ul h3Core Competencies /h3 ul liStrategic, proactive, and hands-on; strong systems thinking. /li liExcellent stakeholder influence skills across multi-levelDefenceenvironments. /li liAbility to balance ahelicopterperspectivewhile engaging deep into technical subdomains. /li liStrong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities. /li liFluent in Dutch and English (French/German are a plus). /li /ul pThis role based in the Netherlands with frequent travel to imec HQ in Leuven. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
