This role demands unquestionable expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to uphold the highest standards in a challenging industrial environment. /p pContractual home base: Flexible - any Drees Sommer office in Germany, Belgium or Netherlands /p pProject location: in an EU neighboring country west of Germany (100% on-site presence required) /p ul liFull ownership of occupational health and safety (EHS/HSSE) within a highly complex industrial plant project in the semiconductor manufacturing sector /li liImplementation and monitoring of EHS/HSSE policies in line with applicable regulations and international standards /li liIndependent identification and management of risks related to environment, health, and safety /li liEstablishment of EHS/HSSE management systems for the project in accordance with company guidelines and specific client requirements /li liSupport and delivery of training and awareness programs for internal and external stakeholders, including project partners /li liRegular monitoring and reporting of internal and external EHS/HSSE performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives /li liCollaboration with authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve EHS/HSSE objectives /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCompleted training as a technician or master craftsman in construction or building services engineering, or a comparable qualification in occupational safety (e.g. Safety Specialist or Health Safety Coordinator) /li liSeveral years of project experience (minimum 3-5 years) on large-scale construction or industrial projects (e.g. plant engineering, life sciences, chemical industry, power plants), as well as familiarity with EPC/EPCM delivery models /li liExperience in conducting Hazid/Hazop analyses and facilitating workshops is an advantage /li liProven experience in leading and managing internal and external teams, combined with strong assertiveness and excellent communication, motivation, and collaboration skills /li liFluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of German, Flemish or French is a strong advantage /li liFull flexibility and willingness to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liTo ensure your work-life balance, we offer the option to work parttime and partly remote /li liWe promote your professional and personal development with individual training and further education opportunities in the Drees Sommer Academy /li liWe support your health with a bonus for sports enthusiasts or a subsidy for membership at any gym facility in NL /li liWe promote sustainable mobility with a public transport allowance or a (electric) company car (depending on the need) /li liAdditional attractive offers with discounts in the corporate benefits portal.
