Together with the tender team, you will be laying the foundations for successful offshore energy projects. /ppAfter Van Oord has been prequalified as a contractor for a project, a tender team is put together. You will start the new tender by going through all the project documentation and a tender kick-off with the team headed by the Tender Manager. You will deal with challenging projects and deadlines, so goal-oriented work and excellent communication skills are essential in this role. Next to this, you are also responsible for /pulliAnalysing clients requests and development of respective execution strategies; /liliCoordination with relevant departments, such as Engineering, Operations and Ship Management, with the aim of drawing up an accurate and technically feasible production estimate; /liliLiaise with subcontractors in coordination with the procurement department; /liliOrganising and managing project-based and content-based tender processes; /liliCompiling and writing tender documentation and deliverables; /liliActively developing your expertise by keeping informed on the latest developments in the market and identifying possible opportunities for Van Oord. /li /ulh3Your workplace /h3pAs Tender Engineer in the Product Line Cables Pipelines, you will play an integral role in the tendering process for offshore energy projects in which your input can make the difference. You will support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process from the receipt of the invitation from the contracting party to the submittal of the offer.
