The role drives engineering excellence, organizational capability, workforce planning, talent development, and continuous improvement while fostering collaboration across disciplines, locations, and project teams. As a member of the Engineering leadership team, the Department Manager contributes to the strategic development of the engineering organization and supports the Company's long‑term business objectives. /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and develop the System Design Department, consisting of approximately 230 professionals through a team of 6 Discipline Managers. /liliProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to Discipline Managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistent leadership practices across the department. /liliEnsure effective integration and collaboration between engineering disciplines to deliver optimized system designs. /liliOwn workforce planning, resource allocation, capability development, recruitment, succession planning, and organizational growth strategies for the department. /liliBalance project delivery needs with long‑term capability building and resource optimization across multiple projects. /liliOversee engineering quality, technical governance, and compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. /liliDrive continuous improvement of engineering processes, digital tools, methods, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and quality. /liliAssess and manage outsourcing and subcontracting strategies to support project execution while maintaining quality and technical integrity. /liliChampion talent development, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and the creation of a high‑performing engineering culture. /liliMonitor departmental performance through KPIs, workforce metrics, quality indicators, and resource utilization data. /liliContribute to the strategic direction of the Engineering function as a member of the Engineering leadership team. /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. /li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliMinimum 15 years of experience in engineering within the Oil Gas or similar complex project‑based industries. /liliMinimum 8 years of leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams. /liliDemonstrated experience leading managers and senior engineering professionals. /liliProven track record in resource planning, organizational development, and talent management within an engineering environment. /liliExperience in large‑scale capital projects and complex stakeholder environments. /liliExperience driving organizational change, process improvement, and engineering transformation initiatives. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
