You will be responsible for a b50,000 m² warehouse operation with up to 300 employees /b, with a strong focus on service performance, productivity, cost control and continuous improvement. You will further develop bworkforce automation /b, using technology, data and smarter planning to optimise labour deployment, while building a strong management team and strengthening the long-term partnership with the customer. /ph3The opportunity /h3pThe Site Manager will take responsibility for a substantial logistics operation in Oss, supporting a demanding customer within the bFMCG sector /b. /ph3The organisation is looking for a leader who can: /h3ulliDevelop the existing management team through coaching and mentoring; /liliFurther improve leadership quality and operational ownership; /liliStrengthen the financial performance and commercial maturity of the contract; /liliLead the organisation through an ERP integration process /liliBuild a strong, credible and long-term relationship with the customer; /liliSupport the upcoming contract extension; /liliIdentify opportunities to broaden the scope of services, for example through transport, security or other value-added activities; /liliFurther develop workforce automation and improve the way labour is planned, deployed and managed; /liliCreate a high-performing leadership culture while making difficult people decisions where necessary. /li /ulh3Your role /h3pYou will be accountable for the overall direction, performance and continued development of the site. A major part of the role is stakeholder management. You will work closely with the customer, the local leadership team (HR, Business Support, Operations, Facility, Cash Controll) and regional and commercial colleagues. You will need to understand both the operational detail of a sizeable bFMCG logistics operation /b and the broader commercial context of the partnership. /ppYou will lead, coach and develop the site management team, creating clear accountability and strong collaboration across the operation.
