ph3Job description /h3 pWe are looking for a Product Specialist Electronics to support the development and quality of our consumer electronics, toys, and smart devices. In this role, you are responsible for testing products, assessing quality, and advising on improvements. /p pYou work closely with Buying, Quality, and Compliance to ensure products meet the required standards and perform as expected. You stay up to date with market developments and contribute to improving both existing and new products. /p pYou’ll be part of a fast-paced, product-driven environment where accuracy, ownership, and a practical mindset are key. /p h3Your responsibilities: /h3 ul liTesting and comparing product samples and advising on improvements. /li liChecking specifications, material quality, soldering work, and battery performance. /li liAdvising the purchasing team on technical product details and quality improvements. /li liQuickly adapting to new product developments and product introductions. /li liMonitoring trends in consumer electronics, toys, and smart devices, and sharing relevant market insights. /li liEnsuring accurate registration and coordination of incoming and outgoing samples. /li liGaining in-depth knowledge of our product developments and collaborating with the Quality and Compliance department to assess the correct European regulations. /li liProviding support to the Buying team in developing new product ideas. /li /ul h3Job requirements /h3 h3What we are looking for: /h3 ul liBachelor’s level of thinking and working, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Product Development, or a similar technical field. /li liAt least 1 year of experience in a technical or product-focused role within retail or consumer goods. /li liAffinity with consumer electronics, toys, smart devices, soldering techniques, and quality control. /li liPractical mindset with an accurate and analytical way of working. /li liStrong communication skills and a proactive, advisory attitude. /li liFamiliarity with basic EU regulations related to non-food or consumer electronics is a plus, or willingness to learn. /li liGood command of the English language, both spoken and written. /li liBased in the Amsterdam area and able to work at least 80% from the office. /li /ul h3Who we are? /h3 pKarsten International develops a wide range of products for daily use, from the latest gadgets to sustainable beauty products.
