Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI RD. /p h3The role /h3 pWe are creating an operations function within the Nebius communications organisation to support our External Communications, People Communications, and Sustainability teams. The operations team will help the whole communications organisation run more effectively, building the processes, tooling and coordination mechanisms that enable team members to focus on delivering an exceptional communications program. We are looking for someone to build this function. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, you will enjoy considerable autonomy and work closely with leaders across the communications organisation. You will also manage the day-to-day work of the communications organisation’s assistant, work closely with the Project Manager for AI adoption. As the function evolves, you may in time build out the operations team into a broader communications strategy and operations function. This role be located from our HQ in Amsterdam on a Hybrid model. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 h3Team operations and coordination /h3 ul liOwn the communications team's operational rhythm: quarterly and annual planning; internal calendars; team events, meetings and offsites; and cross-team coordination /li liCoordinate team events, offsites, and the operational side of the management meeting cycle /li liAct as connective tissue across the communications organisation, to help ensure maximum alignment and avoid duplications of effort or working at cross‑purposes /li /ul h3Strategy and project support /h3 ul liHelp develop and maintain the communications team's planning frameworks, OKRs, and goal-tracking /li liPrepare materials for leadership reviews and internal reporting on team performance and pipeline /li liSupport senior leads on specific strategic projects as agreed /li /ul h3Budget and contracts /h3 ul liBuild and maintain robust budgeting processes that give leads clear visibility into their spend at any point in the year /li liOversee implementation of the communications team budget: tracking spend, flagging variances, managing purchase orders and invoicing with finance /li liManage vendor and agency contracts: renewals, onboarding, scope changes, and compliance with procurement processes /li /ul h3Tooling and AI /h3 ul liIdentify tooling needs and build the stack, from evaluation through to implementation and maintenance of third‑party tools across the organisation /li liLead the communications team's adoption of AI tools, identifying where they add genuine value and helping team members use them effectively /li liWork with IT and procurement to manage tool contracts, access, and spend /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liDemonstrated experience in an operations, strategy, or chief-of-staff type role, ideally within a communications, marketing, or media organisation /li liStrong project management skills: you know how to design a process, stick to it, and adapt it when it isn't working /li liFinancial competence: comfortable managing budgets, tracking spend, and working with finance teams /li liComfortable working across a distributed team in multiple time zones /li liClear and direct communication style, written and verbal /li liPro‑active approach to problem‑solving – you are a self‑starter who comes with solutions, not questions /li liA strongly collaborative, low‑ego approach based on building trust with the team and across the company /li liGenuine interest in AI and technology: you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be intellectually engaged with what we're building /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience working in or closely with a communications or PR function /li liFamiliarity with communications and media tools (monitoring platforms, distribution tools, project management software) /li liExperience working in a fast‑scaling tech company or startup environment /li liExposure to AI tools in a professional context /li liExperience working in international and multicultural environments is highly valued. /li /ul h3Benefits Perks /h3 ul liCompetitive compensation /li liCareer growth and learning opportunities /li liFlexibility and ownership /li liCollaborative and innovative culture /li liOpportunity to work on impactful AI projects /li liInternational environment and talented teams /li /ul h3What’s It Like To Work At Nebius /h3 pFast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI /p h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pNebius is an equal opportunity employer.
