Global VAT Manager - 100% Remote within Europe - €80k-€100k + bonus

This is an opportunity to support the Global Indirect Tax Lead in an international technology leader employing over 35,000 people in 90 countries.
This newly created position will be working on strategic VAT advisory across all business units and global process transformation.You will support the VAT Lead with large projects that require a global or regional approach, such as rule changes, system upgrades, big audits, big contract reviews.
To be suitable you will need at least 7+ years of strategic international indirect tax advisory experience across EMEA and non-EU jurisdictions (i.e. M&A / implications of new entities / new product VAT treatment / contract reviews / memo writing etc). Candidates wil also have strong practical experience with goods / chain transactions.
Affinity with processes and IT systems is required, ideally with SAP S/4 HANA and Vertex would be advantageous, but other tools i.e. Oracle are acceptable.
