They are looking for an experienced OT Security specialist who can: /p ul liTriage OT and IT-in-OT alerts and handle core SOC activities. /li liWork closely with CI and OT DFIR teams. /li liImprove the OT SOC service by tuning detections, updating runbooks, and refining threat-hunting methods. /li /ul pbLocation: /b The Randstad /p pbType: /b Permanent /p pbWorkplace Type: /b Hybrid (2–3 days on site) /p h3The Role /h3 ul liCreate, assess, and optimize detection rules and response playbooks for OT-specific protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC, MQTT) within the monitoring environment. /li liAssist with OT incident response activities, including forensic review, containment recommendations, and technical support throughout an investigation. /li liExecute proactive threat-hunting and intelligence-driven analysis focused on ICs/OT attack patterns, including those mapped to MITRE ATTCK for ICs. /li liProvide guidance and oversight to SOC analysts, ensuring investigations are accurate, well-documented, and escalated when necessary. /li liMaintain and enhance SOC procedures and runbooks aligned with leading industry frameworks such as IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and NIST 800-82. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDemonstrated background in a SOC or incident response function, ideally with hands‑on involvement in OT, ICs, or SCADA environments. /li liCapable of monitoring, identifying, and analyzing threats targeting industrial systems, using tools such as SIEM, NDR, and endpoint security platforms. /li liSolid understanding of OT-focused threats, attacker behaviors, and vulnerabilities related to industrial assets and protocols. /li liStrong communicator who can translate technical findings into clear explanations for both technical and business audiences, including well-structured incident documentation and client presentations. /li liComfortable operating within a globally distributed 24/7 SOC setup, supporting international teams and occasionally traveling to customer sites. /li liProficient in English; Dutch is beneficial but not required. /li liYou must be living in the Netherlands 3+ years as a full security clearance screening will be conducted before hiring. /li liBase Salary: 4k - 5.5k per month /li liFlexible working arrangements /li liDevelopment Training opportunities /li liA laptop and business phone (or monthly compensation when using your own device). /li liHybrid-work support /li liPerformance bonus and profit-sharing /li liA high-quality daily lunch provided when working from the office. /li /ul pDoes this sound like the next step in your career?
