who are you
You bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you are a reliable partner for the entire organization.

• At least 2 years of experience in an IT service delivery or support role.
• Strong proficiency in supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch is required for this role, as Dutch is the primary language spoken in the local office.
• Ability to commute daily to the Assen office (and flexibility to travel to Groningen when needed).
• Experience in laboratory or clinical environments is considered a major plus!

what will you do
As an Onsite Support Engineer, you will be right on the floor to tackle technical challenges firsthand. You’ll be based primarily in Assen, with occasional travel to the Groningen office.

In this role, you will report to the IT Operations Manager, while receiving day-to-day guidance from the IT Team Lead. For technical advice, coaching, and support, you can always count on the IT Operations Manager, Senior Engineers, and your IT team members.

• Act as the primary point of contact for IT tickets and technical requests from colleagues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Microsoft Windows desktop environments and user applications.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy IT hardware.
• Support software deployments and participate in exciting IT project implementations.
• Ensure full compliance with IT governance standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
