The Compliance Operations team is the beating heart of our customer safety practices. As a Compliance Associate, you will have an important part in ensuring Amazon customers are safe and informed by coordinating and taking ownership of product safety recalls, which are fundamental to ensure all products from the website and our fulfillment centers are removed if required.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.

This role is based fully from home, however, you are required to live and work within The Netherlands.

This role is full-time (40 hours).

A day in the life
What will you do as a Compliance Associate?
As first, you will join our training program which covers the technical compliance expertise along with skills such as problem solving or data analysis. Afterwards, you will work alongside our colleagues in reviewing products, documents and policies to ensure all our products meet compliance requirements. While doing this, we support you to design and implement new initiatives such as small-scale automation or process improvements which improve our accuracy and efficiency over the long term.

Our team protects Amazon’s customers, associates and partners by designing and executing product compliance policies. We perform activities such as product classification, compliance documents reviews, and syntax authoring to coordinate product availability, inventory storage and shipping, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Upper intermediate proficiency in verbal and written English (B2 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Upper intermediate proficiency in written Dutch (B2 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
