Security Operator

At Kramp, we are increasing our focus on Cyber security and therefore we are looking for a third person to join our global security team located in Poland.

Your role:

1. Actively mitigate and ultimately resolve security incidents and problems related to Kramp’s users and systems.
2. Initiate the implementation of security improvement actions like patching, version updates, and system upgrades by multiple product teams.
3. Participate in the implementation of new security tools.
4. Complete a broad range of quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily ad-hoc tasks related to relevant security processes and procedures.
5. Be self-sufficient on low-impact changes and work in strong cooperation with product teams for high-impact changes.
6. Create and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures.
7. Analyze security incidents and conduct incident response.
8. Based on daily work, suggest new detection rules to implement.

Who are you?

1. Secondary vocational education or Bachelor's degree in IT or comparable proven experience.
2. At least 2 years of technical experience in the IT industry, preferably in an international environment.
3. Experience with some areas of cyber security, where Microsoft security tools would be an advantage.
4. Experience with Microsoft Azure/365 cloud administration would be an advantage.
5. General knowledge of IT technologies.
6. Attitude towards constant research and in-depth study of issues related to Cybersecurity.
7. Analytical and critical thinking skills.
8. Good interpersonal communication skills.
9. Ability to use data analytics tools to combine and analyze security data.
10. Fluent in written and spoken English.
