Front Office Team Leader

As our Front Office Team Leader, you will support the Operations Manager in leading the daily operation of the department, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, smooth service delivery, and strong team performance. You will lead by example, coach team members, and contribute to achieving departmental and hotel objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office team during daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times

• Act as the first point of contact for guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions

• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement actions to continuously improve performance

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards

• Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and departmental administration

• Drive upselling initiatives and maximise room revenue opportunities

• Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Support onboarding and training of new team members

Essential Requirements

• Previous Front Office experience within a hotel environment

• Supervisory experience or strong leadership potential

• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience as a Front Office Supervisor or Team Leader

• Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems

• Commercial awareness with experience in upselling and revenue generation

• Dutch language skills are preferred

• Any additional language is an advantage

This position is classified under the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO, Scale VI) with a starting salary from €2,645 gross per month based on full-time employment.
