IT Risk and Security Manager

I’m working with Germany’s leading Green Energy provider, with the goal to make Germany greener, more climate change friendly and less energy dependent on fossil fuels. Given the world situation, this is a booming industry right now and couldn’t be more topical. Plus, they are a billion euro revenue company and continually growing with huge investment within their technology, product and security spaces!
Not only do they provide green energy, but other sustainable products such as solar panels, energy trading and e-charging solutions and infrastructure. They are looking for a IT Risk and Security Manager to join their small Security and Tech Ops team.

What to expect:
You will be their core specialist in this space, working directly with their CISO and Security Engineering team, as well as a large number of business stakeholders. For such a huge company they have a very immature IT Risk, Governance and Security set up, one which you’ll be tasked with bringing up to date. You will need to carry out risk analysis across the technical and engineering teams, identify the processes and procedures to break down, network internally with the right stakeholders and put a roadmap in place to guide the business to various key certifications (ISO, KRITIS, IT-Grundschutz and more). Outside of this the business are undertaking a large migration to Azure Cloud and Microsoft security services, and you’ll play a large part in managing the IT Risk side of this move.

Requirements:
- 4+ Years in IT Risk Management, ideally in a Leading position
- You are an expert manager of complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong knowledge of GRC standards, frameworks and regulations (like ISO 27001, 27002 and 27005, SOC, KRITIS etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- You are a proactive individual, excited by working in a fast paced environment. This is not your typical corporate.
