You will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), creating an environment where developers can focus on delivering customer value while platform capabilities provide scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence by default.brIn this role, you will report directly to the CTObrstrongWhatyou’llbe doing: /strongbrstrongPlatform Strategy Developer Experiencebr/strongulliDefine and own the platform engineering strategy and 12-month roadmap, aligned with company objectives and engineering priorities. /liliDrive the evolution of our Internal Developer Platform, making infrastructure, deployment, observability, and security capabilities available through self-service experiences. /liliContinuously improve developer experience by reducing friction, increasing engineering productivity, and simplifying operational tasks. /liliEstablish platform standards, golden paths, and engineering practices that promote consistency across teams. /liliPartner with engineering leadership to identify opportunities for platform investments that increase delivery speed, reliability, and quality.br/li /ulstrongReliability, operations cloud infrastructurebr/strongulliOwn the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of our cloud-native platform. /liliLead improvements in observability, incident management, resilience, disaster recovery, and service reliability practices. /liliDrive infrastructure modernization initiatives across Azure, Kubernetes, networking, and platform services. /liliEnsure infrastructure and platform services can scale efficiently with business growth and product demands. /liliChampion automation-first approaches to operations and platform management.br/li /ulstrongSecurity, compliance governancebr/strongulliCollaborate closely with the CISO to embed security, compliance, and identity management into platform capabilities and engineering workflows. /liliEnsure platform services meet enterprise-grade security and governance requirements. /liliDrive adoption of secure-by-default engineering practices, automated controls, and policy enforcement. /liliContribute to platform and infrastructure decisions that support Effectory's security and compliance objectives.br/li /ulstrongEngineering leadershipbr/strongulliLead, coach, and develop a team of Platform Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers. /liliCreate a high-performance engineering culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, learning, and operational excellence. /liliSet clear goals, priorities, and success metrics for the platform team. /liliSupport hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance management within the team. /liliBuild strong partnerships with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and stakeholders across the business.br/li /ulstrongArchitecture AI-enabled engineeringbr/strongulliProvide technical leadership on cloud-native architecture, platform design, and engineering enablement. /liliGuide decisions around Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, container platforms, and platform automation. /liliSet the standard for how platform teams leverage AI, automation, and modern engineering tooling to improve productivity and operational efficiency. /liliIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive operational work and improve platform self-service capabilities.br/li /ulstrongHands on platform engineering technical contributionbr/strongulliAct as a senior hands-on contributor within the platform team, regularly participating in the design, implementation, and operation of platform capabilities. /liliLead by example through direct involvement in platform engineering work, including Infrastructure as Code, cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, and reliability improvements. /liliMaintain sufficient technical depth and platform expertise to coach engineers effectively and make informed technology decisions.br/li /ulstrongTHIS IS YOUbr/strongulli10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines. /liliAt least 3 years of experience in an engineering leadership or management role. /liliStrong experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. /liliA solid background in .NET and modern software development practices. /liliHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and/or Bicep. /liliYou enjoy combining engineering leadership with hands-on technical work and are comfortable contributing directly to platform engineering initiatives when needed.br/li /ulstrongAdditionally, You’ll Havebr/strongulliYou’re a strong people leader who builds clarity, accountability, and momentum in technical teams.
