Inside Sales Support

Join the team as a Sales Support Specialist for 32–40 hours per week and earn up to €4,000 gross per month based on 40 hours! In this varied role, you’ll support the sales team, have plenty of customer contact and work on quotations, tenders and new business opportunities. Functieomschrijving

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will support the sales team in acquiring new customers and developing existing commercial opportunities. You will qualify and process sales leads, add new organizations to the CRM system and schedule customer visits for the sales representatives. You will also ensure proper follow-up of these contacts and record the results of the sales process.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing customer data, contracts and rates. You will ensure that customer information in the various operational systems is kept up to date and that rates are correctly processed and maintained.

An important part of your role is handling quotation requests for new business. You will identify the customer’s requirements and delivery conditions, request transportation rates for pre- and on-carriage, and prepare a suitable transportation quotation. You will then monitor the follow-up of the quotations.

Finally, you will support local tenders, promotional activities and customer events. You will work closely with the sales team and various colleagues across the organization.

Functie-eisen

• You have at least 2 years of experience with operational processes within freight forwarding;
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• You are customer-oriented and able to find efficient solutions;
• You have a professional telephone manner and good telephone skills;
• You speak and write English well; Dutch is a plus.
