Senior Cloud Infra Engineer - Kubernetes from scratch - Solid Python knowledge - Multi-Cloud / [...]

ppThis is a fast-growing AI platform/product startup building enterprise-grade software for highly complex, operational environments across industries such as infrastructure, energy, and other regulated sectors. /ppThe team is growing steadily and we're proud of the knowledge level that's we're able to attract. Next on the hiring roadmap is someone who loves greenfield challenges, taking ownership, drive initiative across Cloud infrastructure and make a lot of impact in a small team. /ppThe platform is already being adopted by large enterprise customers whilst we're still in very early phases so you're designing for production and will ship fast! This is exciting and you will have a key role during the next phase of growth. /ph3The challenge /h3pThe company wants to further build a cloud-agnostic platform capable of running consistently across different enterprise customer environments, starting from a strong GCP foundation while expanding toward Azure and Kubernetes-native deployments. /ppThis is not a traditional operations role. we're looking for someone who can take ownership of Cloud infrastructure architecture, deployment strategy, and long-term platform engineering standards / best practices. /ph3What you’ll be working on /h3ulliDesigning and maintaining resilient cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP /liliBuilding and improving Kubernetes-based platforms for production AI and application workloads /liliCreating CI/CD systems that deploy consistently across multiple cloud environments /liliImplementing infrastructure as code using Terraform and modern automation workflows /liliDesigning secure networking foundations including VPCs, ingress, DNS, firewall policies, and private connectivity /liliImproving observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting systems /liliEnabling autoscaling and workload orchestration using Kubernetes-native scaling patterns /liliSupporting distributed inference and model-serving infrastructure /liliDefining IAM and RBAC strategies that balance developer velocity with strong security boundaries /liliCollaborating closely with platform, AI, application, and security engineers /liliEstablishing engineering standards, operational practices, and long-term infrastructure strategy /liliTreating infrastructure as software: versioned, automated, reproducible, observable, and reviewable /li /ulh3What we’re looking for /h3ulliStrong experience operating production infrastructure in Azure and/or GCP /liliDeep Terraform and infrastructure automation expertise /liliStrong understanding of cloud networking, ingress, DNS, and secure connectivity patterns /liliExperience building and operating observability systems /liliStrong understanding of reliability engineering, failure modes, and security tradeoffs /liliClear opinions on modern AI coding tools and how they should be used responsibly in engineering workflows /liliPragmatic engineering mindset with strong technical depth /liliAbility to balance speed with long‑term maintainability /liliStrong collaboration and communication skills /liliLikely 5+ years in infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or distributed systems environments /li /ulh3Practicalities /h3ulliAmsterdam-based hybrid setup with significant ownership and greenfield scope /liliHigh-performance engineering environment with modern tooling and hardware /liliOpportunity to help shape foundational infrastructure decisions early /li /ulpThis opportunity is especially interesting for engineers who enjoy building Kubernetes platforms from scratch and taking ownership of cloud infrastructure strategy in complex enterprise environments. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
