Medtronic seeks a remote technical services specialist to provide support for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 digital platform across EMEA. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues for healthcare professionals and field engineers, with occasional onsite support and on-call availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform to healthcare professionals, specialists, and field engineers
- Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and coordinate field service support as needed
- Troubleshoot complex service requests in collaboration with other technical specialists
- Lead continuous improvement projects and maintain complete system documentation
- Deliver occasional onsite training and support domestically and internationally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 4+ years experience, or Master's with 2+ years experience
- Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian at C1/C2 level
- Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Experience troubleshooting software and analyzing technical processes for improvement
- Medical background or technical skills from operating room environment preferred
