With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy. /b /ph3About The Role. /h3ulliLead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety systems, standards, and leading indicators. /liliEnsure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and audit requirements while supporting a customer-focused culture. /liliDrive production performance, efficiency, and operational continuity across production and packaging operations. /liliDevelop organizational capability through workforce planning, training programs, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. /liliOptimize utilization of labour, raw materials, energy, and water while reducing waste and improving operational effectiveness. /liliLead continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives using McCain Drive Impact (MDI) and other operational excellence tools. /liliManage operational losses, production interruptions, inventory accuracy, and resource deployment. /liliSupport product launches, product trials, process improvements, and cross-functional projects with RD and other stakeholders. /liliEnsure effective use of SAP and operational reporting tools to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive corrective actions. /liliImplement and sustain 5S and housekeeping standards to maintain a well-organized manufacturing environment. /liliContribute to the implementation of site and business strategies, including long-term production planning and execution. /liliBuild engagement and accountability while leading teams through change and operational priorities. /li /ulh3What You'll Need To Be Successful. /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Food Science, or a related technical discipline. /liliSeveral years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. /liliExperience leading teams in a complex, shift-based manufacturing operation. /liliStrong knowledge of food safety systems, quality standards, and regulatory compliance requirements. /liliDemonstrated experience driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost-reduction initiatives. /liliStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex operational challenges. /liliExperience with production performance management, workforce planning, and people development. /liliProficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing reporting systems. /liliFluent in Dutch and English. /liliExcellent communication, planning, organizational, and change leadership capabilities. /li /ulh3About The Team. /h3pThe Production Manager reports to the Director Manufacturing and plays a critical leadership role within the site leadership structure. The position leads approximately 7-10 direct reports across production-related functions and provides indirect leadership to approximately 180 production and sanitation employees operating within a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
