You contribute to the establishment, compliance with, and continuous improvement of engineering standards, and act as line manager for a team of mechanical engineers. /p pYour key responsibilities include: /p ulliLeading a team of engineers in day-to-day operations, in line with discipline objectives and project requirements. You are responsible for performance management within the team and for effective resource allocation, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right tasks and priorities are set appropriately, in close cooperation with your manager. /li liEnsuring that discipline deliverables and multidisciplinary designs comply with project requirements and discipline standards, and that the engineering process is correctly applied throughout the full project lifecycle. /li liProviding input, based on your professional experience, to support the development and improvement of engineering methods and technologies. /li liMonitoring discipline project progress and ensuring that the team works in accordance with the project plan. You actively oversee and contribute to project quality in line with project requirements and report on progress. /li liEnhancing discipline and product standards by applying lessons learned from completed and ongoing projects. /li /ul h3bWondering if you are ‘equipped for impact’? /b /h3 pYou are: /p ulliA decisive and proactive professional, able to make sound decisions even with limited information; /li liResults-driven and inspiring, motivating your team to set ambitious goals and achieve them together; /li liOrganisationally sensitive, with a keen awareness of different team perspectives and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships; /li liLiving in the Enschede region (max. 50 km one way).
