ph3Your mission /h3pAs Global Director Supply Chain, you will lead Emsere’s global end‑to‑end supply chain organization and drive operational excellence across our international operations. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will translate business strategy into scalable operational solutions that support our customers, clinical trials and future growth. /ph3Job Description /h3pIn this role, you will lead Emsere’s global supply chain activities, including operations, procurement, transportation, inventory management and third‑party logistics. /ph3Leading the Global Supply Chain Organization /h3ulliLead and develop the global supply chain leadership team, including Regional Operations Managers and Global Managers for Product Procurement and Transport. /liliSet clear objectives, support capability development and create an environment where teams can perform and grow. /liliEnsure alignment between global priorities and regional execution. /li /ulh3Driving Operational Excellence /h3ulliImprove operational performance across warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, procurement and related operational processes. /liliDevelop and implement standardized ways of working while considering regional requirements. /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, customer experience and cost effectiveness. /li /ulh3Executing Supply Chain Strategy /h3ulliTranslate strategic objectives into practical roadmaps, priorities and measurable KPIs. /liliProvide input into supply chain development, capacity planning and future operational needs. /liliEnsure operational readiness for new customers, studies and business initiatives. /li /ulh3Managing Procurement, Logistics and Suppliers /h3ulliOversee procurement strategy execution, supplier performance and product lifecycle management. /liliManage strategic supplier relationships, contracts and service level expectations. /liliEnsure effective transportation operations and strong partnerships with carriers and third‑party logistics providers. /li /ulh3Optimizing Inventory and Financial Performance /h3ulliEnsure effective inventory planning, replenishment and asset utilization. /liliBalance inventory investment with the service levels required to support clinical trials. /liliOwn the global supply chain budget and drive improvements in productivity, cost efficiency and working capital. /li /ulh3Ensuring Compliance and Continuous Improvement /h3ulliEnsure operations comply with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). /liliIdentify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans. /liliSupport digitalization, automation and improvements in supply chain visibility and reporting. /li /ulh3Your profile /h3pYou are an experienced supply chain leader with a strong operational background and the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. /ppYou have: /pulliA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field. /lili10+ years of international supply chain management experience. /lili5+ years of experience leading managers in a multinational environment. /liliExperience managing global operations, procurement, transportation, warehousing and supplier relationships. /liliA track record of improving operational performance and leading change initiatives. /liliStrong financial understanding, including experience with budgets, CAPEX and working capital. /liliKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). /liliExcellent communication skills and fluency in English. /li /ulpCertifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent are considered an advantage. /ppYou are a strong leader who creates clarity, takes ownership and works effectively with different stakeholders across the organization.
