This global leadership role will shape procurement strategy across direct materials, indirect services and capital investment, covering categories such as plastics, printed circuit board assemblies, microchips, electronic components, metals, external manufacturing and other technology solutions supporting animal health operations. /ppReporting to the Executive Director responsible for Indirect Services and Animal Health Technology Solutions Procurement, you will lead a global team of approximately six procurement professionals. You will partner with senior leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, research and development, commercial operations, finance, quality, regulatory affairs, engineering and technology to deliver value, strengthen supply resilience and support business growth and transformation. /pulliPrimary location: United States (Rahway) or EURAM (Netherlands, Austria, Germany or Spain) /liliFlexible work arrangements: Hybrid /liliEmployee status: Regular /liliShift: 1st - Day /liliTravel requirements: 25% /liliRelocation: No relocation /liliVisa sponsorship: No /liliValid driving license: Yes /li /ulh3What you will do: /h3pBring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: /pulliDevelop and deliver global procurement and category strategies across direct materials, indirect services and capital investment. /liliLead strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, contract management and supplier governance to deliver sustainable value, innovation and operational excellence. /liliBuild trusted partnerships with senior business leaders and provide market, supplier and commercial insights to support business decisions and investment planning. /liliManage supplier performance, third-party risk, due diligence, business continuity and compliance across global operations and supply chains. /liliLead, coach and develop a global procurement team, creating an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing culture. /liliAdvance procurement capabilities through process improvement, digital tools, data-informed decision-making and support for business transformation and integration activities /li /ulh3What skills you will need: /h3pIn order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: /pulliA bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, information technology, finance, procurement or a related discipline. /liliAt least seven years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or supplier relationship management, including leadership responsibilities. /liliProven experience developing and implementing global sourcing and category strategies and leading complex commercial negotiations. /liliExperience supporting technology-enabled products, electronics, manufacturing operations or direct-material supply chains. /liliKnowledge of relevant categories such as electronic components, microchips, printed circuit board assemblies, plastics, metals, external manufacturing and technology solutions. /liliThe ability to lead global teams and work effectively across functions, regions and a complex organizational structure. /liliStrong commercial judgement, financial analysis, negotiation, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. /liliExcellent communication, stakeholder management and senior-level influencing skills, together with resilience, curiosity and an innovative mindset. /liliProfessional fluency in English. For Austria, the minimum annual gross salary is EUR 100,300 and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
