We are Conscious Group, we offer the most sustainable stay and a seamless guest experience in a fun atmosphere. We have 4 sustainable hotels, 2 organic restaurants and 2 coffee bars in Amsterdam within Conscious Hotels, and together with Hotel V & The Lobby we have grown to a total of 7 hotels and 4 restaurants. Now Conscious Group is searching for interns for the locations Bar Kantoor & Riot Restobar.

During your F&B Hospitality Internship, no day is the same. One moment, you'll be running around on the sunny terrace, then you'll be behind the bar, and the next moment, you'll be taking the time to share the story behind our delicious organic dishes with our guests. You have a knack for delighting guests by understanding their needs. You can engage in friendly conversations while utilizing your commercial skills. By providing high-quality service, you ensure that guests keep coming back.

In addition, you will learn a lot about inventory management, placing orders, and sourcing the finest organic products. You will also contribute to creating the staff schedules and together with your team, you manage to create a positive atmosphere every day. 

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are a student and enrolled in a field related course 
• You are looking for an internship with a duration of at least 4 months
• You preferably have some experience in hotels or restaurants
• You have a sufficient level of English. Other languages are a nice bonus. 
• You live in or near Amsterdam
• You are passionate about sustainability, organic products and good cuisine
• You are flexible; you can also work evenings and weekends
• You know that having fun with your team is the key ingredient for a successful shift
