Azure Security Engineer

ppMy client is looking for an Azure Security Engineer to be the driving force behind maturing security in one of their most mission-critical environments. This isn't about just keeping the lights on; it's about owning security, bringing a vision, and building structural, automated solutions that go far beyond the bare minimum. You will be the expert on bEntra ID /b, bSentinel /b, and bDefender for Cloud /b, strengthening security operations, maturing identity and access management, and looking ahead to challenges like software supply chain protection. /ppYou will join a rapidly expanding team (growing to 50+ engineers) to deliver the "biggest and baddest" project in their history: a multi-tenant Azure environment for a highly regulated asset management client. The team consists of highly senior, T-shaped engineers who operate as a "hive mind" with a culture of "engineering anarchy," where bend-to-end ownership /b and intrinsic motivation are paramount. While your initial focus will be heavily on security, you are first and foremost an engineer who understands the full picture, from bTerraform /b and bAzure DevOps /b to bKubernetes /b.
