ppbSenior Buyer (Site) /bbr/Papendrecht, NLGKN Aerospace Careers /p /brh3Job Summary /h3 /brpYou’ll be responsible for the end to end management of our suppliers including taking the lead on our sourcing strategy, supplier sourcing and on boarding, supplier performance and purchasing negotiations. You’ll have a strong focus on managing a portfolio of suppliers to reduce risk and optimise cost. /p /brpYou'll work closely with the commodity management team based in Papendrecht to deliver cost-effective solutions that align with the specific needs of sites and programs, contributing to value generation across GKN Aerospace. /p /brh3Job Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliSecond escalation level for all logistical performance. /li /brliSetting-up and monitoring improvement plans with suppliers. /li /brliSupplier development plans in-line with business requirements /li /brliImplement advanced logistics programs (f.e. VOI/VMI). /li /brliSet-up and maintain working capital purchased parts management plan. /li /brliSet-up and maintain global Purchasing procedures, work-instructions and processes. /li /brliCoaching, training and supporting Operational Purchasers in the sites. /li /brliCoordinating first material availability for new programs and development programs. /li /brliMonitoring item data set-up in the ERP system. /li /brliSending out RFQ’s and assess quotations to solve shortage situations. /li /brliSupport FCR change process. /li /brliExecute vendor rating / Supplier Excellence Program /li /brliPerform on-site supplier assessments. /li /brliPeriodically analyse non-moving inventory. /li /br /ul /brh3Job Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliBachelor degree in relevant field (Supply Chain Management / Technical Business Administration) /li /brliKnowledge of Purchasing processes, MRP planning methodologies / forecasting / advanced logistics programs. /li /brliGood interpersonal, presentation and data analytic skills /li /brliFluent English, spoken and written. /li /brliMin. 4 years of relevant working experience in a purchasing / supply chain function in a production /li /brliExperienced in developing and performing supplier assessment, KPI tracking, and leading improvement activities with suppliers. /li /brliExperienced in working with ERP systems / planning systems /li /br /ul /brh3What's in it for you? /h3 /brpOur organization demonstrates passion for innovation and our employees are rightly proud for what we engineer and build.
