We provide safety, a place to play, education and stand up for their rights. /pbrWhat will you do as Project Administrator?brpThe Project Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring proper coding and classification of transactions, and providing guidance to have accurate and relevant data for internal and external financial reporting processes. The PA will also support the daily monitoring of the accounting transactions of the grants and ensure that accounting practices align with grant requirements. /pbrullibr/liliEnsures that all expenses are accurately categorized and coded in accordance with the accounting codes and cost centers provided by Control.br/liliConducts regular reviews of financial data in the accounting system to verify accuracy, consistency, and relevance.br/liliMonitors the integrity of expense allocation and recommend improvements where needed.br/liliMonitors incoming and outgoing payments to ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial procedures.br/liliRecommend improvements to expense allocation and financial documentation practices.br/liliDetermines the financial and accounting structure of the projects for internal and external financial compliance.br/liliAssists in the financial reconciliation of finalized projects for closure.br/liliEnsures adherence to internal financial policies and donor‑specific requirements.br/liliSupports internal and external audits, including donor‑specific audits in any requests related to the accounting system.br/liliProvides guidance to staff on basic financial procedures and coding practices.br/liliContributes to the continuous improvement of internal financial processes.br/li /ulbrWho are you?brpYou are a detail oriented and resourceful professional with a passion for making a positive impact. Most importantly, you believe in the mission and values of Save the Children and are committed to contributing to meaningful change. /pbrWhat's on your resume?brullibr/liliBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).br/liliA minimum of 2 years of proven relevant accounting experience, preferably within a donor‑funded environment.br/liliSolid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.br/liliFamiliarity with donor compliance requirements (e.g., Dutch Funding mechanisms, EU, UN, foundations).br/liliProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.br/liliHigh level of accuracy, with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.br/liliExcellent command of Dutch and English language both spoken and written.br/liliYou are entitled to work in the Netherlands.br/li /ulbrWhat do we have to offer you?brullibr/liliWhat you do helps millions of children worldwide.
