You will be technically responsible for the layout and arrangement of equipment for a wide range of international brownfield, greenfield, and revamp facilities. /ppYou will be working in a team of diverse engineers and designers located across multiple global offices in a multidisciplinary project environment. By applying, you will be considered for upcoming openings that match your skills and experience. /ph3Principal Job Duties Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and optimize plant and equipment layouts for mining and metals processing facilities /liliEnsure proper equipment spacing, accessibility, and maintainability in line with project and operational requirements /liliIncorporate maintenance, lifting, and safety access requirements into layout designs /liliAddress material handling systems, logistics routes, and transport flows within plant layouts /liliPrepare and review plot plans, general arrangement drawings, and 3D models (together with the Piping Discipline) /liliCoordinate and interface with process, piping, civil, electrical, and control systems disciplines /liliReview vendor drawings, equipment footprints, and layout-related documentation /liliParticipate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and model reviews /liliSupport 3D modeling activities using industry-standard tools (e.g. E3D, SmartPlant 3D) /liliEnsure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and project/client specifications /liliPlan the execution of layout work, track progress, and report to the Mechanical Lead Engineer /li /ulh3Basic Job Requirements /h3ulliDegree in (Mechanical) Engineering or equivalent technical field /liliMinimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience /liliMinimum of 5 years experience in plant layout/design within the Mining Metals or heavy industry sector /liliStrong knowledge of:ulliMechanical equipment arrangement and layout principles /liliMaintenance and operational access requirements /liliIndustrial plant logistics and material flow /li /ul /liliExperience with 3D layout/design tools /liliKnowledge of relevant industry standards and design practices /liliFluent in English, both verbal and written; additional European languages (e.g., German/Dutch) are an advantage /li /ulh3Other Job Requirements /h3ulliStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills /liliAbility to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams /liliProactive and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities /liliFocused on delivering high-quality results in a time-conscious environment /liliAbility to coordinate across global teams and stakeholders /liliPreferably based in or willing to relocate within Europe /li /ulpTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located. /ppWe are an equal opportunity employer.
