Do you see more than just a quality issue? Do you want to understand why something goes wrong and, more importantly, how to prevent it from happening again? As a Quality Engineer, you combine technology, quality and process improvement to make production smarter, more reliable and more efficient.

As a Quality Engineer , you are the link between quality, production and engineering. You investigate quality issues, identify the root cause and turn your findings into practical improvements.

This is not a role where you simply check boxes on a checklist. You get the freedom to solve problems, improve processes and continuously raise the quality of products and production .

What will you do as a Quality Engineer?

When a product or process does not perform as expected, you step in. You investigate what happened, find out where things went wrong and work with colleagues to develop a solution that works in the long term.

Your responsibilities include:

• Investigating and solving production and customer quality issues.
• Identifying root causes using analysis and statistical techniques.
• Improving production processes and product quality.
• Performing and supporting incoming, in-process and final quality inspections.
• Managing and checking measuring and inspection equipment.
• Supporting calibration activities.
• Monitoring quality requirements, standards, regulations and customer specifications.
• Maintaining and reviewing quality records.
• Working closely with Production, Engineering and other departments.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and turning them into concrete actions.

Your goal is not simply to fix a problem, but to make sure it does not come back.

Functie-eisen

You are technically minded, accurate and curious about how things work. When you see something that can be improved, you do not simply wait for someone else to take action.

You bring:

• HBO/Bachelor level or equivalent technical working and thinking level.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Experience with quality control and process improvement is an advantage.
• Knowledge of plastics and/or composites is a plus.
• A practical and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to get people on board with improvements and follow actions through.
• A structured and accurate way of working.
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good command of Dutch.
• Knowledge of English and/or German is an advantage.
