ph3Global Savings Controller Job Description /h3 pThe Global Savings Controller (Cost Movement Controller) is responsible for governing and improving the global cost movement review methodology and ensuring accurate, transparent reporting of cost up, cost down, and cost avoidance. The role provides essential financial visibility and supports strong procurement governance across the organization. /p pThis position also owns the maintenance and further development of tools, dashboards, and processes that support cost movement monitoring and savings performance tracking. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the finance business partner for Procurement globally on all cost movement–related topics, providing financial insight, guidance, and alignment. /li liImprove and govern the global cost movement review methodology, ensuring consistent application across categories, regions, and functions. /li liAssess, validate, and report cost movement impact (cost up, cost down, cost avoidance) in collaboration with Procurement and Finance stakeholders. /li liMaintain and further develop cost movement tooling, templates, and reporting solutions to support accurate and efficient tracking. /li liMonitor cost movement KPIs and financial impact across the organization and ensure timely, clear, and accurate reporting to management. /li liDeliver insights and financial analysis on savings performance, trends, risks, and opportunities. /li liEnsure savings documentation meets internal audit and compliance standards. /li liIntegrate cost movement insights into budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles. /li liCollaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, and Business Unit Controllers to ensure alignment on methodology, data quality, and reporting standards. /li /ul h3What do we ask from you? /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. /li liStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at different levels of the organization. /li liProven capability in cost movement analysis, spend analysis, and financial impact assessment. /li li5+ years of relevant experience in Controlling, FPA, Procurement Finance, or similar analytical roles. Strong preference for experience in Procurement Controlling. /li liAdvanced proficiency in Excel; experience with spend analytics tooling and ERP systems such as JDE is strongly preferred. /li liExperience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage. /li liStructured, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset for improving processes and tools. /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment. /li liFluent in English (written and spoken). /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pIn this challenging and responsible position, you will have the chance to make a significant contribution to industry-leading projects and be connected to our dedicated people and customers.
