We pride ourselves with a collaborative mindset. /pTHE POSITIONpOdyssey Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and service-focused Team Leader Leisure Desk Groups Planning to lead our centralized Leisure Desk and Groups Planning team, initially with a strong focus on the Amsterdam market. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of leisure group business, from enquiry and contracting through booking administration, invoicing and after-sales support, while also ensuring the smooth planning and execution of room-only group bookings. Working closely with Sales, Revenue Management, hotel operations and clients, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen processes, maintain high service levels and develop a high-performing team across the Odyssey portfolio. /pTHE KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeisure Desk OperationsulliLead the centralized Leisure Desk supporting the Odyssey Hotel Group portfolio. /liliOversee the handling of all reactive leisure group enquiries. /liliEnsure timely quotation, contracting and conversion of leisure business. /liliManage ad-hoc client requests and maintain excellent customer service throughout the booking lifecycle. /liliEnsure accurate contract administration, booking confirmations and invoicing. /li /ulGroups PlanningulliLead the centralized planning of room-only group bookings after contract signature. /liliCoordinate rooming lists, booking changes, allocations and operational handovers. /liliEnsure all group bookings are processed accurately from contract signature through final invoicing. /liliAccurate group block forecasting, release policy enforcement, monitor pick and wash trends. /liliWork closely with hotels to guarantee smooth operational execution. /li /ulOperations Process ExcellenceulliStandardize and continuously improve booking office procedures and workflows. /liliMonitor workload, productivity and service levels across the team. /liliEnsure high data quality within PMS, CRM and booking systems. /liliIdentify opportunities to automate and optimize processes. /li /ulCommercial CollaborationulliPartner closely with Sales, Revenue Management and hotel operations to maximise conversion and guest satisfaction. /liliSupport pricing implementation and commercial initiatives where required. /liliProvide reporting and insights into booking trends, conversion and operational performance. /li /ulPeople LeadershipulliLead, coach and develop the Leisure Desk Groups Planning team. /liliFoster a customer-focused and collaborative culture. /liliManage recruitment, onboarding and performance development. /liliEnsure knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working across the team /li /ulWHAT WILL YOU BRING?ulli5+ years of experience in Groups, Reservations, Leisure Sales or Booking Office operations within hospitality. /liliPrevious experience leading or supervising operational teams. /liliStrong understanding of hotel operations and the commercial impact of booking decisions. /liliExperience with leisure group contracting and group planning processes. /liliExcellent organisational skills with a strong focus on systems, processes and continuous improvement. /liliStrong analytical skills and commercial awareness. /liliExperience with hotel PMS, CRS and CRM systems (Opera, Delphi, Salesforce or similar). /liliCustomer-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. /liliAble to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. /liliFluent in English.
