Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead the sales team at our BYD & DENZA showroom in Rotterdam. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing and developing the sales team, improving customer experience and supporting the overall commercial performance of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and motivate the showroom sales team.

Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.

Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, customer leads and follow-up activities.

Coach and develop sales consultants through regular guidance and performance reviews.

Organize daily sales activities and staff schedules.

Support the onboarding and training of new sales employees.

Handle important or complex customer cases when required.

Develop local sales opportunities and business channels.

Work closely with the Key Account Manager, Marketing and Aftersales teams.

Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management.

Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up of customer leads.

Provide management with market and customer feedback.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

At least 2–3 years of experience in a sales management or team leadership position.

Proven experience managing, motivating and developing a sales team.

Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.

Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills.

Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in Dutch and English is required.

Customer-oriented and results-focused.

Ability to work independently and under commercial pressure.

Valid driving licence is preferred.
